tramway sign Visit the museum and ride on restored 1901-1969 Brisbane trams at 50 Tramway Street, Ferny Grove. Trams operate every Sunday from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm except in wet weather. Mid-week and special group activities available by special request.

Above: Tram 47 on Saturday 19 January 2008. This 4 wheel tram was built in 1901 by the Brisbane Tramways Company Limited and is known as a Standard Combination 'Matchbox' car. Towards the ned of its life it operated as an advertising car and was restored to original condition by apprentices at the Brisbane City Council Transport Department in 1968 prior to presentation to the Museum in early 1969.
