Museum photos: Mary Ann in 1873, replica in 1999 and with Pacific National rebuilt QR 1300 DEL at EDI, Maryborough in 2004.

Maryborough: B15 299 was moved from Maryborough City Station Platform 1, to the former Goods Shed in Maryborough Yard on Thursday 13-03-2008, mainly due to vandalism. Whistle Stop uses Goods Shed to stable the 'Mary Ann'. Photos: 1, 2. Sunchine Express tour headed by AC16 221A arrived Maryborough Sunday 18/05/08 and continued to Gladstone on 19/05 via loop to Monto then to BNE and Ipswich via Mungar. Photos: 1, 2.

Station Museum and
Mary Ann Restoration

The original 1870s Mary Ann was an 8 horse-power locally-built locomotive and hauled Kauri Pine logs from the woods to tidewater. The replica Mary Ann was built in Maryborough and operates every Thursday and the last Sunday of the month (0900-1400 hrs) in Queens Park close to the CBD.
    The Whistle Stop Museum is open (0900-1300 hrs) every Thursday Market Day and the last Sunday of the month at the old Maryborough City Railway Station in Lennox Street, Maryborough, Qld.
