through Pacific National, but I hope that rail fans might appreciate the

Pacific National Queensland
Pacific National is Australia's largest private rail freight operator,
operating trains in all states and territories, and provides locomotives
and train crew services for Great Southern Railway's Indian Pacific, Ghan
and Overland passenger trains..
In August 2003 Pacific National announced that it had won a contract to haul
stone aggregate 90 kilometres from Bromelton to the Port of Brisbane. In
2005 they commenced freight operations on the Brisbane-Cairns North
Coast Line.
PN's owners are currently involved in
litigation (260 Kb pdf)
that may see the company disbanded, however, QR's rail freight monopoly in
Queensland is unlikely to return.
Details on Pacific National's website.
