Proserpine Historical Museum

The museum features 'Digger' (Leeds Hunslet 1317 of 1916, retired 1962), exhibits illustrating the history of Proserpine's sugar industry, mining, WW II gas experimental station, etc., and a variety of educational and recreational activities for children.

 

Located adjacent to the Information Centre on the Bruce Highway (192 Main Street).
