Many narrow gauge modellers in Australia base their modelling on North American (generally US) or British railways, but there is a growing number who model Australian railways. The Narrow Gauge Down Under magazine caters to both groups and regularly includes articles based on Queensland practice.
Recent issues have included articles on the Fowler-type steam locomotives built by the Bundaberg Foundry in the 1950s and the ex-QR faciulities at Wallaville that are now used by the local sugar cane mill.

Details are on the NGDU web site.
