Mount Morgan Railway Museum
Explore one of Australia's largest mining history sites starting from the Mount Morgan Railway Museum (the restored QR station) just off the highway on the north side of town (now part of Rockhampton Regional Council).
April 2010: The Museum has recently received accreditation for operation in the station precinct and operates trolley rides on market days and by appointment (subject to volunteer availability). The remainder of the trackage has been accredited for maintenance operation with mechanised equipment and funding is being sought for repairs to the bridge restricting further operation.
