The CQ Combined Rail Groups Network is an informal gathering of rail interest groups and individuals in the Central Queensland region--from Bundaberg to Mackay and west. Three meetings per year are rotated among groups to foster cooperation and promote their rail heritage activities.
The QldRailHeritage.com web site is an outgrowth of Network needs and attempts to provide tourists, railfans, historians and other interested parties with up-to-date information on all Queensland-related rail heritage activities. Future network activities may include workshops and training programs for Central Queensland individuals and groups.
Network activities are coordinated by Archer Park's Dennis Sheehan, who maintains a contact list and encourages information sharing between meetings.
