Archer Park Rail Museum

Opened in 1899 to serve the Rockhampton to Longreach line, when the Brisbane to Rockhampton line was completed in 1903 up to twenty-five trains a day passed through the station. Closed to passengers in 1970, it reopened as the Archer Park Station and Steam Tram Museum in 1990.
Now known as the Archer Park Rail Museum, the station houses Central Queensland's premiere rail heritage collection.

Image link: Saturday 13 Oct 2007 Archer Park Station hosted the quarterly meeting of CQCRGN (Central Queensland Combined Rail Groups Network), an informal network of regional rail heritage groups.
