Built 1903 at the North Ipswich Workshops (Queensland), the car was originally #360 and cost £1,170 to build. The car is on loan to Archer Park from QR Heritage.
Car 360 had two berths per cabin and was built with a lantern roof. The majority of the interior was made with cedar and pine.
Car 360 was converted to the Central Division General Manager's special car in 1929 or 1930, when it was designated #434.
With an observation platform on one end, #434 usually ran as the last car on the train and was used on inspection trips throughout the region.
