We have discovered a cast iron and marble table that supposedly came from the Station Refreshment Rooms. Can you help us with details?
The restored Purrey Steam Tram operates every Sunday (except December and January) from 10 am to 1 pm, and on special occasions.
Several times each year Archer Park hosts a number of organisations and special activities with a 'gold coin' admission. Dates for 2008 are 20 April, 15 June (cancelled, tram not running), 31 August, and 26 October (changed from 19 October).
Typical special activities include displays of military artefacts, blacksmithing, military and railway modelling, woodworking, and rail heritage displays.
Events include the steam-hauled Q150 train... travelling throughout Queensland with local trips in Rockhampton 19-22 April. Details.
Archer Park Station and Steam Tram may be hired for a variety of functions, including weddings, photo shoots, receptions, meetings and promotional activities.
Archer Park's interactive school break programs attract several hundred young people each year.
General meetings of the Society are normally held at 3:30 pm the last Wednesday of every month.
